After being recommended by a friend about Samantha Castle I decided to sent my unbroken and nervous 4yr old to be broken professionally with Castle Stud. After 3 weeks of him being in this country I realised my lack of facilities and time I would not be able to do him justice ..
Samantha took her time with him but at the same time was able to make great progress every day, My horse was transformed into a confident and happy horse. .Samantha has a remarkable empathy with the horses she works with, they seem to respond happily and calmly with her.
I received updates, Pictures and Video clips on a regular basis and Samantha even went out of her way to ensure he had External Professional work done when it was required.
Samantha informed me to say he was ready to be picked up after 4 weeks but I wanted him there longer , to be honest he was being so well looked after I wanted him there for ever !!.

In having our own farm, we strive to import the best quality of stock possible for the sport of show jumping in America. Samantha of Castle Stud outclassed many overseas trainers and sellers we have worked with in the past with her professionalism, coordination of import vetting, blood, and paperwork, as well as providing timely communication for us as we worked internationally with her to purchase her wonderfully bred Eurocommerce gelding. Samantha's integrity and professionalism were apparent as our farms new gelding arrived from his overseas flight in the exact condition, both physically and under saddle, as he was represented to us for sale. We put our trust in her integrity buying him sight unseen and we are thoroughly happy we did. I sent my youngster to samantha for breaking. She was with her for 5 weeks and did an amazing job with her, my mare hadn't done anything apart from having tack on and they managed to get her to work correctly and jump lovely! I can't put into words how much I would recommend samantha, such a lovely person who clearly knows her stuff!!!! I will most defiantly be sending any future youngsters their way!! One very happy customer.

My horse went to Sam for schooling. I am overwhelmed with how good she is with the horses and how quickly she has turned a very green naughty boy into a star. Sam and Mark are friendly and approachable, and went the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable before I took Murphy back home. Very impressed and satisfied. Highly recommend for all aspects with regard to training!

I made the decision to move to castle stud due to the fantastic facilities. The school, stables & turnout are all first class. The yard is very professionally run, clean & tidy. My horses settled straight away due to the calm & relaxed atmosphere. Sam & Mark made us feel very welcome & are two of the nicest people I have ever met. We also now have Sam as an instructor for my two sons. She has solved issues my son's were struggling with for months within a handful of lessons. Both my son's riding & my two horses have improved dramatically. I honestly couldn't be happier & I cannot recommend Sam & castle stud highly enough.

Thank you to Sam and Mark for the day to day dedication put into looking after my filly. Its difficult to find a livery yard that offers all the facilities and the true 1st class services that Castle Stud do. No task is ever too much and since Pippa and I have been at Castle Stud we have been given 5* care. With other yards you have to nag to get things done but with Sam and Mark everything is sorted and the stress is taken away. Also all the people up the yard are great and there is no bitchiness which again makes life easier : ) Its nice not to worry when I go on holidays because Pippa has Sam and Mark on site who are brilliant at keeping in touch with me and ensuring she is happy. Could not ask for a better more stress free and happy yard! Genuine people who offer a genuine service.

I took my horse Missy to Sam's for a jumping "boot-camp" and we had a really valuable week of 1-2-1 tuition. Missy was totally relaxed from the moment she arrived, we both learned a great deal and weeks later Sam is still in contact with great advice, guidance and reassurance as needed. Would recommend Castle Stud without hesitation.

I can't thank Sam enough, Luna went to castle stud for 6 weeks, for the backing process. Sam treats them as though they are her own and she came back in much better condition (thanks for tidying her mane!) and the photo updates were a lovely extra to see the progress. I had a lesson the week before she came home which really gave me confidence to then try at home. I am going to continue having regular lessons with Sam on Luna and I am also going to look into having lessons with her on my older horse as well. I would definitely recommend Sam's services !!! Thank you
